Bio

I am 32, I am an RN, I work on an impatient psychiatric unit. I hate that there is still such a stigma attached to mental illness. I have been married for 7 years to a really great guy- he looks like young Steve McQueen, only with tattoos (Edward Gorey from "the Vinegar Factory") on both upper arms. He's skinny, sexy, and smart, and a great daddy to our little girl, Leela, who will be 2 on March 6, 2009. We also have 2 cats and 1 and 2/3 dogs. Daisy only has 3 legs. She is from Ecuador (they are all rescue pets) but she was beaten and left for dead on dirt road outside Quito, and needed part of leg and tail amputated due to infection. So we paid for her to fly here from Quito, and then about a year after we got her she developed septic arthritis and needed the rest of her leg amputated. So, she is actually the $5000 dog. Wow.

I love to read, I love to sleep, I love to text and talk to my girlfriends that are all over the country that I've met online through my various different interests and those I've reconnected with through the crack that is facebook.
